John's Story

John is from Newton, New Jersey. He is married to Martha Bobinski Rapp of New Haven Ct.. John is the father of a grown daughter and son, both serve the USA. John is an OPA now to Colette, who loves playing my drums. His schools include F.M. Burd, then Newton High School. He later attended Virginia Tech (Electrical Engineering) and played drums in many rock bands and the Jazz Ensemble. He now works at Advanced Acoustic Concepts in areas of advanced technology, IBM hired him out of college and away from Newton (there were really no computer engineering jobs back home!), and that job...Expand for more
lasted 31 years, the last decade there was with Lockheed Martin at the same location. John's hobby interests still include drumming and singing, Electronic music instruments, Native World Percussion. John has Authored 37 US Patents, many about Alternative Energy of the oceans, Music he likes to hear still includes Deep Purple (1968-1976), Robert Plant, Santana, Steely Dan. Toad the Wet Sprocket. Alison Krauss. TV shows he likes include Blue Bloods, NCIS, Homeland. Outlander. One of John's favorite quotes is:"Imagination is more important than knowledge - Albert Einstein".
