John's Story
Life
After school and college I worked for a couple of years teaching school at Western High School.
On a drunken whim I called the Navy recruiter in response to an advertisement on television. That lead to a career flying jets for the Navy from which I retired in 1994. Since then I have been in Ohio working to reform a corrupt and highly dysfunctional public education system.

efa) and I have been married since 1974 and have two girls. Laura graduated from Ohio State University in 2007 and is now married, working, and living the dream. Katie is going to college now figuring out life.
We live in a 170 year old farm house in Warren County Ohio.
I like outdoors sports, fishing, hunting, bicycling, and paddling when I'm not working, singing, or building furniture.
