John's Story
Life
After graduation I goofed off for 2 years at Skagit while working at Penney's. I transferred to the downtown Seattle store and left their employ in 1970. I put in a few too many years working in bars and restaurants and in 1980 I went to work for Transamerica and left there in 1995 and went through a succession of jobs. The most rewarding was at LATCH Lutheran Alliance To Create Housing, the most fun Seattle Opera. I am now working for the best law firm in Seattle, Davis Wright Tremaine as an assistant in the corporate and employment departments. Our most famous partner is former governor Gary Locke. I have had the same roommate for the past 45 years. People assume we are partners, well after this many years I guess we are. I enjoy theater, travel (especially Las Vegas, even though I neither gamble much, smoke or drink [anymore]).
My sister Lois (Class of 59)died of cancer in 1989, brother Ken(class of 66?) and family live in Mount Vernon and baby sister Cathy (class of 69)and family lives in Portland Oregon.
My parents; Pete died from cancer in 1995 and Stella died from cancer in 1998.
