John's Story
Left TR in 72. Served with U.S. Army till 80. Returned to states and after working in Massachusetts for 4 Years moved to the Silicon Valley in California. Started a number of companies there.
1993 moved to Scotland and am doing it all over again, like the challenge I guess.
2005 moved to Wales and still there.
I work in Plasma Physics in design and control of deposition and etching systems for the Semiconductor and related industries. My specific area of expertise is in the area of Plasma Harmonics. I am an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Glasgow. The...Expand for more
University of Glasgow is the 4th oldest English Speaking University in the World. I am also a member of the American Vacuum Society and have taught at their conferences.
I have recently been accepted as a member of the Institute of Physics of the UK and Ireland. Served on the Plasma Physics Committee of the UK and Ireland for 4 years and on the Technological Plasma Workshops.
Was teaching Renewable Energy at the European Energy Centre in Edinburgh. Volunteered at the National Botanic Garden of Wales.
