John's Story
I never graduated with yall in 1982. I was just a bad kid to most of you haha.. I dunno... but what did you really know? Not much.. Things change. people change, life moves on.
I Left Mathis in 1983 and Served my country in the Navy 6 years, I worked for State Department several years, Lived in Italy 4 years, Greece 3 years, Kuwait 1, Alaska 3, California a few times, Florida a few times, Virginia a few times, and Boston. Seems Ive never lived anywhere more than 4 years consecutive. It was exhausting but it was an awesome experience. Bad kids who dont get the education have to go and do the things nobody else wants to in order to get ahead.. In the end I proved worthy. I did it my way :)

opportunity to raise him by myself. Both boys are proud warriors as you can see from their pics. They are my life's greatest gifts.
Ive also operated my own business for five years now. I deal in cyber defense and am a trusted agent for McAfee. I have since moved back home to CC in 2019 and purchased a home on the island. I'm not so sure whats next or if Ill stay. I'm still single since 2003. I don't see that changing at this point. I rarely see anybody I knew around these parts. I'm not much like folks here culturally or politically speaking but I respect your ways and values. I stay on the island for weeks at a time but will travel to Mathis on occasion while only passing through CC. I got To fish or visit my three grandkids who also live there in Mathis. I'm forever bound to this place it seems!
