John's Story
Life
I'm 5'7" half Puerto Rican and Salvadorian but raised on the Puerto Rican side, don't know anything about El Salvador besides that there's where my biologycal father is from. I was born in Manhattan, NY on Dec. 20, 1983. Moved to Cabo Rojo, PR when I was still a baby after my parents go a divorce. In the middle of 3rd grade we moved to the bronx, NY were we stayed with my step-dads parents for a bit. Then moved to 225 w 232nd st. were I attend P.S. 7 which was across the street. Then after graduating from P.S. 7 I attended M.S. 141. While in my last year in 141 my step-dad decides to go active duty for the U.S. Army and 3 days after graduation we moved to Ft.Hood TX where I've been ever since. Went to what is Shoemaker high school now but was Ellison 9th grade center. Then Ellison High school. 001. Joined the U.S. Army on Jan. 23, 2002. Went to basic training at Ft. Sill, OK and then went to AIT (Advanced Individual Training) at Ft. Belvoir, VA for 6 months basically where I learned my MOS or job in the Army which at first was a 81 T Topographic Analyst but later changed to 21 U Geospatial Analyst. Plain and simple I do GIS work. i hoped i would get out the Killeen/Ft. Hood area but no. The army gave me orders to be stationed there, so been in Ft. Hood area for 8 years now. I am in the 4th Infantry Division deployed to Iraq the first time on In March of 2003 came back in 2004. Met my beautiful wife here in the Killeen/Ft. Hood area. Got Married on June 23, 2005 and deployed back to Iraq in November 2005. I have one beautiful daughter which means the world to me. I like marital arts movies, martial arts, boxing, baseball, reggaeton, love my salsa and merengue. That's it for now, but will finish and update more later on.
