John's Story
Life
After high school I went to Purdue U., became a hippie, graduated in 1974 and spent 6 months in the north woods with my Peggy (future spouse) and my new daughter, Alisha. Came back to civilization and went to work at the family bank. (big surprise) Had 3 more children and then we became licensed foster parents and have since had over 100 children. ank in Gurnee in 1994. Then started bank in Buffalo Grove in late 1995. The older kids and I like to go rock climbing, skiiing, whitewater canoeing and play volleyball. Left old bank in October 2003 to start a new career as a real estate broker. As a former banker, the purchase and sale of distressed properties (short sales and foreclosures) has been an easy transition for me.
