It hardly seems possible!! 1960?? Time surely does fly--especially when one is having fun.
I finally graduated from Troy--in 1967, however. I probably wouldn't have graduated then if money and eligibility both had not run out.
I married Elaine Thomas of Waycross; we've been married 38 years. We have two children: Katy, married with two children and teaching and coaching with her husband Mike in Effingham County; Mark, a soldier who, after two tours in Iraq was awarded the Bronze Star.

am retiring this year from teaching and coaching after 42 years. Elaine and I live in Blackshear. I plan to devote my spare time to my greenhouse and my seven old cars, which range from a '31 Model A street rod to a '68 Camaro.
Presently, I direct the choir at the First United Methodist in Blackshear, a post I have held for nearly 15 years.
In retrospect, it's hard to believe that I have about covered my entire life in such a short space. But it's been great, and the best is yet to come.
