John's Story
Life
I've lived in Kenosha, WI for the last 9 years with my wife Kelly and our two sons. We love it here!
After 15 years working in the corporate world in human resources management, I opened my own company where I provide educational and consulting services to individuals, schools and corporations. Additionally, I am a private drum/percussion instructor at my private studio (portsidepercussion.com) and the percussion instructor for two high schools, three middle schools and three marching band programs.
I am an active musician, performing in a variety of musical venues as a drummer and concert percussionist.
Both of my sons are musicians, one playing trumpet (rebel!) and one following in Da...Expand for more
d's footsteps, playing the drums. I am fortunate to be the instructor for both of their bands, which has allowed us to travel around together to some really cool places. Most recently we just returned from New York, where we performed at the United Nations...what an incredible experience! The city wasn't too bad either!

Workplace
Spent 15 years in corporate world, human resources field, before starting my own company. Currently, I am the owner of Stolfe's Portside Percussion Studio in Kenosha, WI. I provide educational and consulting services to individuals, schools and corporations.
