John's Story
Hey LC,
Well it's been almost 27 years. Wow we are getting old! I still work in the film business but have my own small Production Company now. Actually two companies called Leopards Angel Productions which is strictly a Production Company that develops films and commercials and I also own and run John Strand Photography formally Andeamo Video & Photography. We handle the sports celebrity market and some TV and Film clients. No I am not Paparazzi to quote Gold Medalist Jim Craig 1980 USA Olympic Hockey team that beat the Russians. He was the goalie. The Team was called the Miracle on the ice. "John is the only photographer that makes me look good" I also work with Gold Medalist Rulon Gardner famous for Roman Gecko Wrestling. He was the "Miracle on the Matt" in the Olympics. Now if you include Olympics 4 X Gold Medalist Janet Evans from swimming "Miracle in the Water" who beat all the Russians. Well there are enough miracles to start a singing group. LOL. I learn a lot from all the old greats in sports I won't bore you with the names. They are some of the nicest people you will ever know. I spend most of my time flying on planes from location to location. I live in the SF Valley. HOT!!! I lived in Palos Verdes for years but it was too much of a hall everyday to get to my office which is in Woodland Hills.
If you have not read my Bio before I will catch you up.
I studied theater and Film after High School and I made a living doing commercials and parts in movies and TV. Very hard work and not at all glamorous; but I would not trade It for anything. I can be found somewhere in the sky overhead flying on a plane editing photos or trying to get some sleep, I get very little of that..If you saw ¿Up in the Air¿ I just go from city to city taking pictures of Sports legends or just famous people who get paid to be with not so famous people. I fly Continental not American most of the time. But Platinum and Diamond are a different world when you travel. So that is where the similarity ends. I don¿t check classmates but a couple times a year. So just look me up on Facebook or Google John Strand ¿you¿ll find me.
