Life
It was great to see everyone at the 10 and 20 year reunions and a trip to see how much everyone has changed.
We put together an unofficial gathering in the summer of 2008 at the Elks lodge in Westminster,CA that had an awesome turnout.
Personal
I married in 1997. I have two chilfren.
Workplace
In 1988 I began working for Lacerte Software Corporation located in Long Beach, CA. We manufactured Professional Tax Preparation Software. In 1992 I relocated with the company to Dallas, TX. Larry Lacerte sold the company to Intuit Inc. in 1998/99. I continued to work for Intuit until my 5 year non-compete clause lapsed. 2009: Unfortunately everyone is being affected by the current economical recession and the layoffs it is causing, including me. Fortunately I joined a great corporation, Transplace, that will be around for many years to come. TransPlace is a 3PL (Third Party Logistics) company with many prominent business partners and customers. TransPlace is an industry leader in carrier logistics and transportation needs. If you see a plane, train, ship or 18 wheeler transporting cargo, odds are they are doing business with TransPlace.
