John's Story
Life
Within weeks of graduating I reported to Basic Training and spent the next 4 years in the Army. (Two years in the 101st Airborne and two years stationed in Panama) After getting out of the Army (1981) I returned to the Macomb area and went to college at W.I.U. with a major in Computer Science. ear of college (1983)and I accepted an employment offer from Caterpillar as a computer programmer when I graduated in 1984. I held various programming assignments, supervisory positions and am now managing one of Caterpillar's I.T. Divisions. We have two boys and currently live in Germantown Hills (small community outside of Peoria) I haven't talked to anyone from the Class of 77 for many years and looking forward to seeing how others are doing.
