John's schools include Layton Elementary schools, North Layton Jr. High school, Layton High School, and then graduated from Weber High School. John later attended Weber State University where he majored in Elementary Education and taught in the Davis school district for four years. etired in 2009 and lives in Jurupa, California with his wife of 37 years, Annette Krause Todd from, of Roy, Utah, keeps busy with his 4 children and 11 grandchildren. He is active in his church, community, and serving in the Redlands Temple.
He has kept in contact with his friend of 46 years, Bruce Milburn and is planning on attending the class reunion of 2014.
