After graduation I worked at Shands & Baker lime rock mine, trying to save enough money to go to college. Finally in January 65 I enrolled at St. Leo's but lasted only a couple of weeks until I was in a very bad car accident. I then moved to Gainesville to work with the Florida State Road Dept. In Sept 65 I enrolled in Central Florida Junion College in Ocala but was about to be drafted (Vietnam War), so I enlisted in the Air Force.
