John's Story

Life After High school, I went on to UH as a chemistry major. Ha! That lasted about 2 1/2 years. After a while out of school and a less than stellar career as a Globe clerk, I came to my senses and re-enrolled. After cramming 4 years of education into eight, I graduated with a BSET in 1978. I married in '86 and have worked as a controls system engineer and engineering supervisor in the oilfield for the last 24 years. That did allow me to see a lot of the world. No kids, although I inherited a few in my marriage. They are all now grow...Expand for more
n and out on their own, at least for the moment. For those few that remember, I still have my red and white '56 Dodge, though it is somewhat worse for wear. It was my Granddad's, then my Dad's, so I guess I'll try to keep it around. Anyone else still got their original PHS wheels? For those that know me, you may remember I lived on Acacia Street in Southmore Plaza. Many of us that grew up on Acacia (as well as Briarwood) have gotten together via Email.
