Degrees in Chemistry/Physical Chemistry. Worked at the LA County APCD/SCAQMD for 16-years, the last nine as Principal Chemist. Went into environmental consulting for the next 15 years, then I worked for Lockheed Martin for 18-years under contract to the US EPA doing emergency response, and making significant advances in real time monitoring of trace levels (parts per trillion) of toxins in air. k, and led the monitoring side of the decontamination of the Hart Senate Office building, and managed monitoring air pollutants associated with many other natural and man-made disasters. Was issued eight US patents on sensors and other related items while at Lockheed Martin. I do part-time consulting, was issued a ninth patent in July 2023 and have several more pending patents. I have three adult children, and am widowed.
