John's Story
My wife Yvonne and I have been married over 17 years now and we have a beautiful daughter Kristen who just got her temps (look out) and will be a junior next year. My two boys Jonathon who has Autism and is 14 and Jared 8. We lived in our house now 7 yrs and enjoy back yard bbq's and hanging out together at Kings Island or traveling.
Its been a while since I worked for American Airline but I loved every minute of it and was a big blessing in my life. My wife had never been on an Airplane before untill we went to Las Vegas. She was very nervous at first. We travel from the bahamas to California. My daughter and I used fly to go to Dallas, Chicago, and L.A. Sometime we all just fly to Dallas for Lunch or Florida to the beach for the day and back home at night. It was great getting to send my parents on exotic trips. AA. I also have been to Hawaii and on a cruise.
Living with Autism is something I hope you don't have to endure. It is 24/7. Sometime it is hard to deal with but I just do. He is going thru his teen years so hormone are really strong and he gets frustrated very easy not being able to communicate very well. We sign with him but really don't help much. Jonathon is a artist. He can operate the computer really well. He love to create Animation and draws great better than me. He is a 4.0 student at school better than me too! Even though he is graded on his level he is a 3 year honor student and recieved 3 year ERA award. I am very proud of him. My daughter is been a big help to us with Jonathon and is a great big sister.
My youngest boy may have Aspergers a mild form of Autism. But it okay because he is terrific to me.
I would like to hear from old friends and make new one as well.
