John's Story
John and Linda are now living in Decatur, AL, where John is retired and Linda is the director of the local Sav-A-Life Pregnancy Center. We celebrated our 40th anniversary on April 21, 2012. Do the math and you will conclude correctly that we got married while we were still seniors in HS. It's a long story! oved to Chattanooga in 1990 (also with an ins. co.) and finally moved to Decatur in the spring of 1995 so I could open and run my own Ace Hardware Store. Health issues forced me to sell my store in 2004 and finally to retire from the corporate ranks of Ace in Jan. 2008. Since then, I have been letting Linda bring home the bacon and now I have the privilege of "frying it up in the pan!" Life sure gets tedious sometimes.
