I wish I'd gotten my shit together before spending all that money... Workplace This whole work thing has been a weird path for me. Environmental education, farming, work in the national parks, leading bike tours, teaching in a classroom, writing software, maintaining networks: there are commanalities here that I don't fully understand yet, though I'm starting to. The school where I currently work, The College School, is based upon a philosophy of experiential education that pulls much of my experience together, though there's still a great deal of room to grow. I'm excited again about the field of education and wonder how I ever wandered so far from it. The challenge is to keep it feeding my mind and nurturing my soul. It wouldn't hurt if it helped my pocketbook a bit at some point too...
