I was born on the beach in Panama City, FL. I spent a lot of my youth in Dothan, AL, in the southern part of the state during the 1960s and '70s. Moved to Anniston in the northern part of Alabama in the 1978 and have been in the area since. I started playing guitar at the age of 10, and have been building guitars since 1984. I have lived the American dream and owned my own businesses (Flash Guitars & Pro Soud Shop, JEF Audio) and now work for Big Brother (without the Holding Company). I am a member of Word Alive International Outreach church in Coldwater/Oxford, AL, and the Slo'Moses band. My wife and I have 6 kids between us - 2 of hers (Doug & Misty), 2 of mine (Blake & Jasmine), and 2 adopted (Jennifer & Crystal) - and 4 grandchildren (Hailey, Cassidy, Cole, & Callie). I'm getting old, but it beats the alternative !!".
