John's Story
Retired and glad of it. Live in Forks, Washington. It is in the middle of the rain forest on the most N.W. tip of the United States. Our rainfall is measured in the feet. (about 12 ft a year.)My home is on the Sol Duc river and Salmon, Steelhead and Trout abound. Back to nature for this ex-city boy. Have 3 ugly dogs, one beautifull wife and don't have a worry in the world. Life is great...Expand for more
! After retiring I went back to school and became an EMT , then a guardian ad litem, then a hospice volunteer, then a Washington State University master gardener and managed the WSU demonstration garden. As you can see I am not sitting on a couch wondering what to do next. I am also president of our local food bank and on the board of directors of the Salvation Army . Stay busy friends !!
