John's Story
After graduation I worked a few odd jobs, not quite sure what I wanted to do with my life. 1970 was a big year for me - in March I began my career at Michigan Bell, which later became Ameritech, then SBC, and finally AT&T. I retired after 38 years in 2008. Finally, in October of 1970 I got married and as of this writing (2013) we are currently working on 43 years together. ve two grandchildren. In high school I began to play the guitar and have continued to enjoy doing that. I taught myself to play a little piano, also, and haÂve been fortunate to be able to use these hobbies in church throughout the years. In addition to music, I enjoy reading, movies, computing, and video games. We have always lived in Michigan, and over the years have lived in Detroit, Westland, Brownstown near Flat Rock, and currently reside in Newport. jgoff87 at yahoo dot com.
