John's Story
John Earl Harris. The youngest son of Otha Harris, Sr and Katherine Harris.
My older brothers were Otha Harris Jr., Robert Harris and Theodore Harris.
I live in the Atlanta, Georgia area. I am an Accountant, Financial Planner and hold a ERPA license.
I have worked for over 35 years in the Accounting, Financial, Investment and Retirement Planning field.
I retired from the US Treasury Department after 32 years and started a Consulting Business. .
I do Retirement Planning, Financial Planning, Tax Planning and Investment Planning.
On the personal side, I have three children. Jada (first daughter) is married and has three sons.
Jada has an Undergraduate Degree in Event Planning from Roosvelt University in Chicago.
Kamilah (second daughter) is at the University of Alabama and on track to become a Nurse Practitioner.
Jabari (son) is at the University of Alabama and studying Engineering and Accounting.

Last but not least, my wife is Doctor Rosiland S. Harris who received her Doctorate Degree in
Nursing from Troy University; Masters Degree in Nursing from UAB and Bachelors Degree in Nursing from Vanderbilt University. Dr. Harris is the smartest and hardest working Lady that I know.
I do mountain climbing at Stone Mountain and Kennessaw Mountain in Metro Atlanta along with walking, bicyling, swimming and horse-back riding for exercise and relaxation.
My Inspiration comes from my Parents and Grandparents who showed the model on being a success.
The persons from my past who I'd most like to see again are Audrey Russell, Vera Carter, Dwayne Campbell, David James and other Classmates from 1970. Dr. Jerome James and Vera Carter-Mitchell are both hopefully in Heaven. All of these persons mentioned were an inspiration to me spiritually and professionally.
