John's Story
I am currently living in Columbus, Ohio with my wife and 2 sons. My profession has changed several times since school. I am currently Day trading for a living. I left a role a year ago heading up a Marketing group for a drug distributor in Columbus and decided I had had enough moving for one life. Day trading is difficult - fun but quite stressful. We'll see how long I can do it without giving myself a heart attack.
I earned my MS in Utah, where I spent more time skiing than studying. My specialty was Molecular Biology and I worked in research for a number of years after college.
I got bored with lab research after a few years and went into sales for a company that sold to researchers. I also got married around this time. (The woman I married, I met in the lab. She was from Long ...Expand for more

I held a number of sales jobs and finally moved into Marketing and moved to California. California was pretty but I didn't like living there. I came back to the East Coast with the same company, had my first son in '95 and took a job with Healtheon, a tech company. One thing lead to another and I wound up leading the Internet Marketing efforts for Schering Plough and then GlaxoSmithKline.
I am happy with my family, and, when I am not day trading, I am working at starting a company with another guy here in Columbus.
