John's Story
Life
Graduated with a B.A. in Journalism from Wichita State University. Had a varied career starting as Sports Information Director at New Mexico Highlands University. From there to Boeing Aircraft Company, where I spent several years in the Industrial Engineering Department. Most of my career, however, was either in sales or management for trucking companies in Arkansas, Alabama and Tennessee. ent back to work full time and finished my career with the Walt Disney Corporation at the Disney Cruise Line, retiring in 2005.
I started dating Jeanie in college and we married in 1966. We have two children and five grand children (2 in Florida and 3 in Minnesota).
We love to travel, especially now that we are retired and watching the Denver Broncos. We have cruised the Caribbean frequently, and bought 1 1/2 acres in the mountains of Costa Rica overlooking the Pacific Ocean. We live in a golf course community about 15 miles from Disney World in Davenport.
