John's Story
After my quick departure from Pittsburgh after graduation, I was on my way to California. I lived in various parts of northern california including: Sacramento, Berkeley, Oakland, San Francisco, and Santa Cruz. I worked primarily in the restaurant business and as a bike messenger (in S.F.). I dabbled in college at U.C. Santa Cruz and S.F. State. d accross a job opportunity at a glass studio in Berkeley, and have been working in glass ever since. I met my wife to be in 1992. We left Ca. and moved to Seattle in 1996, and then moved to Portland, Or. in 1999. We've settled down here ,buying a house,starting our own businesses, and finally having a kid (Kalea 2 1/2 yrs. old). I have an architectural art glass business thats keeping me hustling. I love traveling,cycling, and wrestling with my kid.
