John's Story
I'm listed on the Cross Keys 63 class because I attended there for about a
month in 58. Graduated 63 from Chamblee, also attended Skyland & Ashford Park Elementary with folks from both schools.
Retired from DuPont in 2007 after 33 years, then taught 2 1/2 years at UNC Business School as adjunct Prof, but got cut during the money crunch this year, so spend most of my time doing a little (very) consulting and working (for free) at the local Methodist Church. nd two teenage girls, one a rising senior and the other a rising soph.
Age finally hit me this year, now taking meds for high blood pressure, during a cardiac cat scan found 3 nearly collapsed arteries, so now have 3 cardiac stents. Just finished ~4 months of cardiac rehab, exercising 3+ days a week for about 2 hours and have lost nearly 23 lbs (50 to go). Watching diet (no more ribs!!!). Feeling much better than I have for a while.
