John's Story

I have been Married and divorced, widowed, and am now Happily Married. We have 6 Children and 8 Grandchildren (All Gifts from God). I ran track in Dickinson and up until 1996 I ran every day. I still run with Our Grandchildren and play soccer, softball, and basketball. I played my drums in Dickinson and still play. I am very much into Holistic Medicine and have learned and continue to learn a lot about it. I am the Happiest man on earth because God is good and crossed my path with my Wife Kate who is Godsent and the Love Of My Life. We have such a Wonderful Life. We have seen a lot of plays in New York and a lot of rock concerts all over. Our Daughter Kelly is a very successful Hospital worker with a lot of accolades. Our son Tommy broke 13 of the 14 records at A.I.C. College in Massachusetts over 9000 yards in his career, and then went on to play in Germany for a year throwing 58 touchdowns and running for 2 while passing for 4800 yards. Our son Eddie is a very successful ironworker and touch as nails. Our Son Brian is in charge at Target and is brilliant on anything automated (computers, phones, scanners, tv, etc) Our Son Chris is a world class Musician playing guitar (rock) and classical cello. Our Son Tony is a construction worker and would give you the shirt off his back. All of Our Children make us proud. Our Granddaughter Julie...Expand for more
is a whiz at everything in school and plays soccer, softball, cheerleader and dancer, and has an incredible memory. Our Grandson Eric is a gymnast (self taught), play soccer and softball, and has an incredible memory. Our Grandson Brendon plays soccer and football and has an incredible arm like his Dad. Our Granddaughter Keighley plays basketball and soccer. Our Granddaughter Reighley plays soccer, softball, and cheerleader. Our Grandson Eddie plays soccer and softball. Our Grandsons Sean and Luke are awesome and have already started to play soccer, softball, and football in the park and will soon play on teams. A short time after I started trying to get Our class of 1972 40th Reunion to happen by seeing how many of my Friends would be interested, I got my 90 day notice and am now looking for a job. I am a "Mainframe Senior Technical Support Technician" and I "fix Batch jobs" that do not complete successfully. I have been doing this since 1972 and have over 41 years of experience. I have gotten very good at this and learned a lot of things outside of this realm such as DB2, Changeman, Control-m, Ca7, Vsam, Insync, Ibm Utilities, Cics, File Transfer, enough Cobol to understand some of what a program is doing and the attributes of the files involved and Database(s) used. I appreciate any help any of you my Friends can give me.
