After graduation I attended Fresno City College and graduated in 1965 with an A.S. Degree in auto mechanics then I went to Fresno State for a short while. I was sent to Yosemite to work Memorial Day weekend by the college placement office in 1966 and except for one year I've been there ever since, working in the service stations, garage, and maintenance machine shop. ime I have built and raced NASCAR stock cars, rode dirt and street motorcycles, and competed in rodeo style competitions and trail ride with my horses. I have two kids a 23 year old daughter with two boys 4 & 3 years old and a 19 year old boy who just moved out on his own. I live in Mariposa and commute to work in Yosemite. Ilive with my three horses and my Queensland Heeler dog, Pete.
