My Spouse
Out in California, we both worked for the same employer - one day I sorta started noticing her, and the rest - two kids, the mortgage, is history . .
My Kids
Carly & Russell that's them, 9 & 7. One Sunday morning before the house woke up, while I was drinking my coffee, I couldn't help but think how these two kids have their whole life ahead of them, school, college if they want - you wonder what they'll do with their lives - and I found myself thinking so this is what comes with the passing of years - age - it was a defining kind of moment - I mean these kids now have their youth ahead of them, odd how when one day you see it pass you by . .
January 2013:
Well, it looks like it's been 11 years since I put this story here - both kids are in college now - Carly 3rd year at Cal Poly, and Russell in his first year - Cal Poly too.
Same - same for the home life, just plugging along - not quite ready to retire - but sure would love to. Same lady - marr...Expand for more

My Job
Some days good, some days nuts - I'm a building services manager for a larger Staffing firm, in the Facilities - IT department - have close to 800 employees at corporate hqtrs. It's alot of fun most days, got a good boss, and a pretty good staff.
Well, left the private sector / corporate rat race for a public sector job, Facilities Manager now - with the economy now in the pits, it was probaly a good move - despite the budget cuts and furloughs . . . .
Don't get back to NY / East Coast as often as I like - someday . . . .

Well then - looks like 21 years now since my first profile entry . . . . as Judy put it "Who Knows Where the Time Goes . . . "
All is well, all is well - looks like I'll be a grandpa come the spring next year -
And, every now and then I get to thinking back to the old days on LI, sometimes I hear about old friends - fond memories sorta stick with you . . .
