John Mullin:  

I was a math and computer science teacher for 37 years retiring in 2002 form Lower Merion High School where I was the Math Dept. Chairperson. I was involved in most aspects of the high school including being member of the school's senate, school rep. on the PTA, a member of the district and school technology committees and a member of the faculty council. I also coached track and field for some of time and was sponsor of the math team and for 24 years and helped with the school's presentation at the Philadelphia Flower Show. For the last 13 years that I taught, I was very interested in hand held technologies such as graphing calculators that helped to enhance secondary school students' math education. I conducted many workshops in the Phila. area on topics involving these technologies at both the secondary and college level and spoke at regional and national conferences. I also served as an instructor and counselor for workshops held at West Chester University.
