John's Story

I was involved in most aspects of the high school including being member of the school's senate, school rep. on the PTA, a member of the district and school technology committees and a member of the faculty council. Over the years I continued my education receiving two masters degrees from Villanova University and one from Rosemont College plus doing some graduate work at Ohio State and Temple University.
During my time at Lower Merion I was nominated three times for the Presidential Award in Mathematics and was a finalist in 2002
I appeared in Who's Who Among American Teachers seven times and the International Who's Who of Information Technology once. In 2002 I won the prestigious Fritz Brennan Award at Lower Merion for service to the school community and the Montgomery County Outstanding Math Teacher of the Year award.
I never married but have a good size extended family including my brother and four sisters and their spouses, along with eleven nieces and nephews, seven of whom have spouses at this time and eleven grand nieces and nephews and a few more on the way.
I have small but close group of friends and countless numbers of people, including former students, that I consider friends. I enjoy life, my hobbies, my interest and the natural world that continually astounds me with its natural beauty, its awe inspiring might and its adaptability.
