John's Story
I am now married with a nine year old son Caleb and six year old daughter named Rylie. We currently live in Thomasville. In my spare time (outside of family time) I love to run (wish I was faster), go to the YMCA, ride on my '75 Honda CB550, read, and eat bbq. I also love blues, particularly the electric Chicago style of the 40's-60's and play harmonica, going to the open night blues jams in High Point and Greensboro when I can get out.
Military
I was in the USAF from April 1992 ...Expand for more
until April 1996. I was stationed at Travis AFB, for the most part, in Northern California with the 60th Security Police Squadron. It's located right between San Francisco and Sacramento. I got into bike riding during that time, riding a lot in the Napa Valley area with a group that used to leave from a bike shop in a nearby city. If I miss anything about that time it's the rides I'd do along Highway 1, which runs right along the coast with big views of the Pacific from atop cliffs, etc.
