John's Story
Life
Grew up in Eureka, met the Beavs, went to college, played in a punk band, traveled the world with the Rangers, worked for the Red Cross in San Francisco and started a tech company. Writing a book, volunteering and still trying to stay out of trouble.
School
So I was all set to go to Cal but ended up at West Point.
They asked me what job I would want if I could do anything, so of course I said "Beastie Boy."

Workplace
After the Army I worked for 2 years managing disaster response for the American Red Cross. Jumped ship to start a tech company with friend. Now work in San Francisco and Santa Barbara: Two pretty crappy places.

USMA 96, JSA 97, 2/75 Ranger 98-2001, 7th PSYOP 2001-2003. Civilian 03-ad infinitum.
