Johnie's Story
I reside in Kansas City, MO and I have 2 married daughters, 4 grand children and a dog. My mother and mother-in-law are still living and we all live in close proximity of each other. My father passed in August of 2015, due to complications from a foot amputation.
I have been employed by the Procter & Gamble Co. for 30 years and retired last September. My roles with P&G gave me more opportunities than I ever imagined possible, and I am hoping the next 30 are as fulfilling. I widowed in 2009, after 35 years of marriage to my childhood sweetheart, a 1973 WHS alumni. However, this year I will celebrate my one year wedding anniversary with Donna (Burdolski), a 1971 alumni.
I love America and the flag that represents her, God, weekends, family & friends, KC BBQ, travel, my family and a good strong cup of coffee. I also enjoy riding my motor cycle, camping, fly-fishing, the ocean, mountains, live music and cooking.
In a quirky way, I feel life has blessed me and it has been full of learnings, amazing people and incredible journeys and places.
