Named “Male Vocalist of the Year” (2014 – NC) by SM Productions of Virginia, Johnny has recorded three albums of his own – “ It’s Not About Me,” ”The Last Mile,” and most recently, “Used By You.” His mother recognized his musical gifts at an early age and guided him into the multi-talented musician that he is today. In addition to his vocal talents, Johnny plays multiple instruments, such as piano, organ, drums, lead and bass guitar.
Johnny serves as the Minister of Music for Nebo Baptist Church of Murfreesboro, North Carolina and guides three choirs through Sunday morning worship. He shares his passion for Christ through song with the residents of many local nursing homes. He has been featured in several newspapers and magazines chronicling his many music accolades and his mobile music ministry.
