After graduating from Ben Lomond(1971), I finished up at Weber U(1975), married my highschool flame (Susan Hamilton, class of 72), and moved out of state.
We moved to Oklahoma with an opportunity to go into the appliance business and I am still at it today. I always wanted to work for myself. It has its ups and downs, but I still sign my own paychecks thirty years later so it worked out OK.
We have three kids, a son and two daughters, all married and doing fine.
We have two grandsons (Caden May,05 Luke May,07).
I began a public service career on the city council in 1996 and was...Expand for more
elected Mayor(1999-2003). In November 2006 I was elected to the State House of Representatives and re-elected in Nov 08. Politics keeps me busy and allows me to make a difference in people's lives.
I enjoyed reading bios from my friends in the class of '71 and recall good times while at Ben Lomond. It was a tremendous time of growth and change in my life.
