Tony's Story

Life So I wake up one day and find myself happily married and living in Alberta, Canada! Been here for a while now and I'm now feeling the effects of the cold! For the first couple of years I still had that hot California blood that served so well to keep me warm. But now it's cold! I'm certain that if I stepped off the plane at Ontario Airport in the middle of a summer visit, I would burst into flames! But on to the update. I went through a long haired biker phase, and bounced at a Seal Beach Bar. I was mistaken, at another bar, for an Australian bushman biker (like there are many of those running around)that was crossing the U.S. on my bike (Once I saw where this was going I spiced up the tale with that crossing the U.S. thing) and was constantly given free drinks. I usually passed the drinks on to other people as I am not into alcohol that much. This practice made me very popular. Everyone else was so drunk they thought I was buying drinks for them! I finally had to stop going, the owner of the bar wanted me to marry her daughter! So in typical Hollywood style, I couldn't accept. I was wild....like the wind..and had to continue my quest...and rode my bike back to Cerritos! I was in two movies! But don't run out to rent the videos! (Like you would - smile) Both movies are bad and you have to actually pause them to see me! But I can show you the guy I was supposed to play in one movie that got to talk and got kicked in the face! (The director said I was too tall and my hair was too long after they cast me) But that's ok, I wouldn't want my legacy to be the cop that got kicked in the face, anyway. Got to meet Bill Paxton on the other film. Nice guy. Any of the guys that played basketball at Gahr would remember filming that movie. Those of you that have been a member here long enough (and bothered to check my profile - thx) will remember I was living in Corona California. I worked as a Category Development Manager for Acosta Sales & Marketing, and was happily married raising two wonde...Expand for more
rful step-kids. Well years passed and things didn't work out with the marriage. I still keep in touch and LOVE the kids I raised. They have grown into wonderful adults...and I am so very proud of them. I just recently became a grandfather! Now I am married once again living in Canada. Stepdad to two boys that are great! Totally different atmosphere up here. People should venture out of their home country more and see what the world is like. Maybe it would calm all of this craziness down. Up here things are more laid back...I work independently as a bike builder (Now here is where I could lie to make myself sound really cool and say it's choppers and stuff) but I won't..lol. I build bicycles several large stores. It's really cool to see someone riding down the street on their new bike...or some kid coming over on his bike to see my stepson...or a single mom that is walking with her toddler on their first bike...and know that I probably built those bikes. It's good feeling. Besides they pay me a ridiculous amount of money to do it! I just recently started building and selling custom bike of my own design. I sculpt OOAK ( One Of A Kind) Art Dolls. I sketch, write stories and shoot videos. I built my own garage last winter in -30 below. Not because I'm tough...it's because I'm stupid! When I was putting the shingles on the roof, it was too cold for them and they would snap. So I had to leave them in the house, grab a few climb on the roof and nail them on before they froze. Then jump down and repeat the process. Ah the Great White North! I'm not on here much but if you want you can drop a line to poppashango at a place that sounds like "not fail". lol Well I have run my mouth/thoughts/fingers enough here for those that are curious as to what happened to Tony Johnson. I hope this update will in some way change your life....and let birds sing for you...and flowers turn your way when you walk by....and other blah blah wonderful things! Until then...best wishes to you and yours! peace
