Joice's Story
Life
Through life's journey I have learned many things amoung them is to always treasure the people you hold dear to you in life because in an instant, in the twinkling of an eye that person/those people will be gone. Life is short, surround yourself with the best people possible, meet new people and don't be afraid to make new friends because you look up and they are not new anymore but and old and trusted friend. Remember to laugh, love and live becase that what God intended you to do with your life. Don't sit around a mope because when you do that the next thing you look up and your old and sad. Smile because it's so much easier. Love because life would be so lonely without it. Know that you don't have to be rich, successful, good looking, and smart to be a good friend or person you just have to be the best you you can be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
School
The teachers that inspired me most were my third grade teacher Mrs. Kilby and Mr. Gerald Washington my 12th grade english teacher who didn't let me get away with anything. I don't remember having a crush in high school but in the Air Force ...Expand for more
I had a couple( gotta keep that to myself)! If I could do it all over again I would but before going into the Air Force I would have gone to SMU or Depaul. I had alot of great times in school from elementary to high school. I met alot of great people from other schools that I am still friends with now. My saddest moments are the friends that I found out have passed on especially my friend from elementary school Curt.
Military
In boot camp I learned so much about myself especially my mental toughness. I had so much fun throughout my years spent in the Air Force. Sooo many people so little time. I am especially greatful to my best friend Helen because over the years we have grown to be like sister and for that I am thankful. Also my friends, Mike, Tony, Freeze and Ron you guys make me laugh and keep me on my toes. Alenki I don't know where you are but I hope that you are well my friend. The Air Force taught me some of my lifes most important lessons. To always cherish the friends you make in life. Put God in everything you do and the rest leave up to Him and he will fight your battles.
