Jolene's Story

I began my first business at the age of 26. Sold that business 18 years later. Was a restaurant manager for many years and bought an upscale Dinner House which I operated for seven years. Working for me was almost a hobby because I enjoyed it so much. I have two beautiful children. My daughter after being a Mother to two boys is now getting her bachelor. Will be completed first part of next year. My son has a year and half and he will have his bachelor. I guess we all went through the 60's and 70's I know I did. I didn't get caught up in the drug thing was too busy working. I had fun just because being in my 20's and independent was fun! Life continues to be amazing to me and still a large teaching process. the key to getting older is not to take things too seriously and remember to enjoy the small moments of smiles. The smiles are the sunshine to light your way when the world around you seems a bit dark. It works for me. My friend Barbara from Clackamas and I still see each other as often as time allows. Our daughters were born exactly one month apart to the day. We have had the pleasure of watching the years and age happen. Sometimes the whole thing causes a lot of laughter! I still love the outdoors and everything that nature creates. I love museums, history art, Biographies, Jazz ,60's 70s music the beach and Sunriver . Time does not give me the opportunity for these enjoyments too often but when I can... I love it.
