Jolene's Story
Then: I was the quiet girl who sat in the back of the class and probably few remember me unless you were a part of either the Spanish or German clubs, honor society or attended early morning seminary. After graduation I went straight to BYU and enjoyed study abroad in Mexico and learning as many languages as time allowed. Then I served an LDS mission to Brazil- Sao Paulo Norte.
After returning from Brazil I met my husband David Huddleston as we both prepared to become Spanish teachers. We enjoy our family of three girls. The oldest Rebecca served a mission to Virginia and is now married nearly a year. The middle one, Karina loves serving others through sign language interpretation, swim lessons for handicapped children, childcare for challenging children etc. Michelle, our youngest is a senior this year and hopes to some day become a marine biologist.

years I have been a teacher of foreign languages ( Spanish, German, English as a Second Language) and a variety of other things such as Keyboarding and Utah studies, study skills etc. It is really my joy to teach kids and watch them grow. I thank my wonderful teachers at Viewmont for inspiring me to become a teacher.
My hobbies include: reading young adult novels, playing the piano, enjoying my pets (a dog, Jingles; a cat, pearl; two turtles, jasper, a red eared slider and Miss Piggy, a russian tortise.
I also like to continue learning new things. I completed a Masters Degree at Weber State University in Curriculum Instruction and Design.
If I have the money and health when I retire I would love to travel with a tour group to some of the countries I've only been able to study about and would love to find more time to work on Genealogy and study more languages.
