Jon's Story

Life Retired F-4 pilot.Grad Univ of Alabama, 1966. USAF from 1966 to 1989, stationed at Mather 1967, CCKAB 1968(Viet Nam), Ft Campbell 1969, Randolph 1970, Viet Nam (again) 1971, Randolph 1972-75, McDill 1976, Hill 1977, RAMSTEIN 1977-82, Seymour-Johnson 1982-85, Langley 1985-89.(Instructor pilot in F-4s, T-38s and T-39s). Fedex in Apr 90. Moved to Colorado in 1991. Married in 1971 at Randolph, have twin boys, USAFA grads and both USAF combat pilots. Fly 727s for Fedex and drive '92 Corvette and a 1200 Harley. Golf as much as I can and am a regular at Air Force football games. Was shot down in Viet Nam in '68. My brother Jim(Ktown '64) gave his life for our country as an Air Force pilot in 1972.
