Jon's Story
He was married to Linda Crawford Dart (Jackson, MS).for 44 years having Brian Thomas in '75 and Elizabeth Carolyn in "80. Linda pasted away in May 2015 from complications from Ovarian Cancer. His schools include Biloxi High School. He later attended University of Southern Mississippi (Personnel Management, Bachelors in Business Administration), Communications Electronics Basic and Advanced Officer's courses at Ft. After retiring, he was employed at the MD Dept of Transportation, as a Grant Administrator requesting Federal dollars for Light Rail, Commuter Rail, and Bus projects throughout the State of Maryland. He is an avid Cyclist with over 8600 miles on his current Bike riding for the Face of America from the Pentagon to Gettysburg,, Sea Gull Centuries, Multiple Sclerosis rides on the Eastern Shore of MD for 14 years and others. He dedicated 55 years to working with Boy Scouts as a Scoutmaster, Merit Badge Counselor, Council Advancement Committee, and District Advancement Chairman. He earned his Wood Badge Beads and received the Silver Beaver Award.
