aduation (I was a little busy with the Army). Then when I did start back in the educational realm, I had an examination of my military schooling and life experience done to see what I could get college equivalency credit I could get. Surprisingly I had over 130 credit hours accumulated from the exam, so I took a few classes to round out the critical areas and went from no college credit on record to a Bachelor of Science Degree in 14 months. Upon retirement I found that Information Technology pays better than Sociology, so I went back to school to study IT/Networking. I got an A.A.S. in IT/Networking. Now my retirement pension pays all of my living expenses and I work part-time to support my computer hardware/software habit. Workplace I joined the Army in August '76 (graduation year) after goofing off during the summer. I served 22 years and then decided I needed a change of pace, so I retired and went back to school. Now I work for Lockheed-Martin helping to create new computer simulations for the next generation of armored combat vehicles and tactics for the Department of Defense.
