Jonathan's Story

My responsibilities included portfolio accounting, marketing, performance analytics and some trading. After the hedge fund relocated to Memphis, I decided it was time that I pursue my MBA. As a result I started my full-time MBA program at George Washington University in the Fall of 1996. I completed this program in May of 1998. I started working for Sanford C. Bernstein & Company. Here I was managing a team of 8 people. Our team was responsible for 1100 private client accounts. However, after two years with the firm we were bought out by Alliance Capital Management (a growth shop) which changed the company culture. I eventually left in November 2002 where I started my second masters program at Pace University in Accounting. I graduated in 2004 and began working for Deloitte & Touche as an auditor in their financial services group where I audited the international banking clientele. My wife and I recently moved to Seattle, Washington to escape the concrete jungle of NYC.
