Jonathan's Story
After high school I went to Union College in Schenectady, NY and from there went on to Dundee, Scotland, following in the footsteps of my father who graduated from St. Andrews University in medicine and did his clinical work in Dundee.
I became a doctor in 1975, and did two years of post graduate training in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, and then did a few years of private general practice in Denver, Colorado and then Miami, Florida, before completing my training in a family medicine residency in Chicago, Illinois. Chicago that I met my wife, Lynne, and we have one son, Daniel, who graduated college a year ago and is now working and living in the heart of Chi-town. I have been living in a near suburb, Oak Park where I have an office and am part of a multi-specialty medical group. I have kept up my interest in music, play keyboards, and recently have purchased a vacation home in the northwest corner of Illinois, in a hilly, rural wooded area where I can get away to relax and take long walks in the country. I plan on retiring next summer.
