Life -Joined the Army right after High School, 89'. Graduated Basic and Advance Individual training at Fort Knox, Kentucky, as a Combat Armor Specialist (Tanker-19K). I had the opportunity to travel to Germany for my first assignment where I served with the 8th Infantry Division (IN DIV), 4/34 Armor (AR). Deployed to Saudi Arabia, Operation Desert Shield / Storm as an M1A1 Gunner from 1990/1991. Changed duty assignments and moved to Fort Stewart, GA, 24th IN DIV, assigned to 3/69 Armor from 1991-1993, and was promoted into the ranks of the Non-commissioned officer Corps. Decided to change my job and become a Medical Supply Sergeant (76J); moved to Fort Sam Houston, TX, home of the medics, where I completed my medic training. As a Medical Logistician I served at the following assignments: Ft. Drum NY, 10th Mountain Div., 10th Support BN, where I deployed to Haiti as part of Operation Uphold Democracy; Washington DC, serving as the Non-Commission Officer in charge (NCOIC) for the Institute of Pathology (had the honor and privilege of becoming the President of the Joint Enlisted Council). I was able to establish a consolidated study guide for all branches of service members to attend the soldier of the month / year boards; Republic of Korea, 1/68 Medical Battalion as the Senior Logistician (traveled throughout the peninsula inspecting clinics and ensuring compliance of regulatory guidance were being adhered to); and Ft. Lewis WA, serving as the NCOIC of Tri-Service Regional Business Office. I served as a Drill Sergeant at Ft Sam Houston, TX (2001-2003), where I had the privilege and honor to mold and shape young recruits so that they become combat ready for any conflicts whether foreign or domestic. I received my BS in Business Management from University of Maryland University College (2002), and a MBA from University of Webster (2009).
