Jonathan's Story
Life
Newly single, and loving being in my forties, it's the new 30's. I am a homeowner, business owner, and a two dog owner... that's enough for me.
I love the outdoors, keep fit, well traveled, and share my time between family, friends, and helping those within the community.
Life goes by fast, so enjoy every day as one never knows when it can all change in a blink of an eye.
School
Well, it has almost been 30 years and although a bit fuzzy now, I wonder if that has anything to do with age?
However looking back; what stands out most of all? Is my High School sweet heart back then; Kris Schults, I think she is married and has kids?
The other is when I had an apartment for my senior year and we threw a memorable party via the hosts; Perry Vineyard, Joe Harman, Dave Johnson, and Eric Anderson, which basically invited the whole school.
But my most impressionable is Mr. Payne our principle, for if it was not for his vision and kindness I would not have graduated; he allowed me to continue school outside of CVHS and upon completion of Basic Training and AIT through the military, graduate 81, thus accomplishing the few credits needed I graduated. Mr. Payne is one of those teachers who shall forever be remembered.

d in Europe; mostly Germany via the military, but I traveled on my own through 7 different countries many times, thus finishing my tour in Washington honorably.
I then moved to Palm Springs, Ca. and spent the next 10 years in the Resort Hotel Industry from the Ritz Carlton to the Marriott Desert Springs, and thus completing my BA through OSU.
I moved back to Oregon for both family and personal reasons and lived in Portland where I found a career in the Dot.com and then later found my niche; the Mortgage business, and spent the next 9 yrs being a web foot outdoors fanatic in the great Northwest.
In 2003 I moved back to California; something I never thought I'd do, but I love it and I've actually bought a place again, so it appears I'll be here for awhile. I do travel back to Portland every year (twice) and visit family and friends.
Life is filled with ups and downs, and I see the cup half full, as I look back I only can say it is what you make it, so cherish every day as it was your last.
Update:
With the housing market slump or die off in California, I've relocated now to Portland, Or. I have been up here since late 2008. Write me a note as I would like to meet old friends.
Military
