Jonathan's Story
After graduation, I started working for Zimmer. Until I enlisted in the U.S.A.F.,
May, 19th, 1971. Boot camp in San Antonio, Tx. Graduated from Tech School, of Aerospace Ground Equipment, Repairman. 1st base, Davis Monthan AFB, Tucson, Az. to the 355 Tactical Fighter Wing (TAC), with A-7 D Corsair aircraft. I was married to my First wife that went with me too my 2nd base Incirlick AB, Adana, Turkey. Detachment 192 supporting Military Airlift Command (MAC). 3rd base Hill AFB, Layton, Utah, with the 388th Tactical Fighter Wing (TAC) F-4s, and F-16s, Divorced and re - married my soulmate, where I met her on a blind date. We were shipped to Ramstien AB, at Kiaserslatin, Ge. With the 608th Millitary Airlift Support Squadron. For three years, then back too Hill AFB, Layton, Utah. Then we were, sent to Homestead AFB, Homestead, Fl. With the 31st Tactical Fighter Wing F-16s. Retired after 20 years and 11 days, 06-01-1991. old, became a school bus driver. I had a great time, picking up the kids for school, and the activities driver for 3 1/2 years, had to resign because of falling asleep at the wheel. Worked as a ranch hand, irrigation, mending fences, cutting alfalfa, round-up cattle, and slash-cutting with chainsaw. Then in July 1997, I moved to, Portland, Oregon. Enrolled as an apprentice in the sheet metal (HVAC) Union. Became a journeyman fabricating sheet metal fittings, for residential, commercial, and industrial Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning ( HVAC) Systems. Retired in 2008, and moved back to Spray, to present day. I'm 66 years old and living on 3 retirements, fishing 🐟, camping, hunting Elk, and Deer, from my front and back yard. The Lord has blessed us in many ways, I have 2 daughters, and 7 grandchildren. May God have blessed all of fellow students. I'm a born again Christian, I believe that Jesus Christ, is the blessed saviour that became the sacrificed lamb of God, for all the sins of mankind.
