Wow what can I say? I wish I could go back and start over. You know "I wish I knew then what I know now".Just turned 48 yrs. old and I think back in High School someone 48 yrs. old was a dinosaur!Life has been so good to me and although I'm not a bible toter must say God has been so very very good to me.I've had so many opportunities and experiences that I feel are unique and amazing but it doesn't take much to amuse me either.I made tons of money over the years and blew it all every chance I got(or divorced it every few years)Money never made me happy but the challenges and finding new, better and more successful ways of doing it provided the thrill to keep me going.
Many classmates have been successful and have done well and that's great and admirable. I don't consider that I ever "made it" as far as life goes but have very few regrets.

I could turn back time I'd have to say I would work on my relationships a little harder. I could name a dozen or so of you girls from High School that I had crushes on and had way too many girlfriends and wives over the years. You know what I figured out? I envy the people who fell in love early and stuck with it through thick and thin and are celebrating their 20, 25 and 30 year anniversaries. There is just too much divorce, too many single parent kids and too many kids without parents in the world. That creates hurt and hate that is not constructive and adds too many distractions in this already too busy world. My advice to my son will be to take your time, do it once and do it right. Make sure you're in love-everything else will work itself out and bring more love to the next generations in the world creating better, smarter and happier leaders to carry on.
