Hello,
Although I graduated in 1973 from MAHS, I was only a student there for the last half of the year. Due to a death in the family during my senior year, my dad requested and received a compassionate transfer from Kasierslautern to Munich. Another unfortunate event that year for me . . . my family took photos at the graduation only realizing too late that the camera did not have any batteries - so I don't even have any graduation photos.

A few months after graduation, my family moved back to the U.S., however, I (only 17 years old) decided I would stay in Munich after being offered a job at the AAFES Headquarters (across the street from the Stadelheimer Gefaengnis). A lot happened in the following years! In 1983 I met my husband in Munich (a Bavarian) and life is good!
That's my story in a nutshell. It'll be interesting to see how contact via this site unfolds. Thanks!
